This is the Serial Hotsync/PC Connection cable for LifeDrive, Tungsten T5/E2/T|X and Palm Centro, Treo 755p, Treo 750, Treo 700w or Treo 700wx for Window Mobile, Treo 700p, Treo 680, and Treo 650. The Treo 700w|wx handheld does not support serial hotsync, but this cable will allow the 700w|wx to connect its serial port to the serial port of a PC. For Palm OS handhelds, this cable will allow the user to use Citrix along with the handheld to accomplish Serial Hotsync. As well, Windows and Windows NT machines can be used for Serial Hotsync with an appropriate Treo. Tungsten T5 can serial hotsync, but at much lower speeds, for instance 19.2kbps or 9.6kpbs. For Treo 700w|wx for Windows Mobile, you need to make sure that your software can access the serial port. The cable does work properly, but your Windows Mobile code may need to be updated to be able to access the serial port on the 700w|wx.
